Willis Towers Watson has snapped up former regulatory supervision manager Nicola Anthony from the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) to join its legal professional indemnity insurance team.

Appointed as lead associate (risk management), Anthony will support divisional director FINEX global Joanne Cracknell to expand the range of risk management services the brokerage giant provides to legal clients. At CLC she focussed on anti-money laundering, cybersecurity, and emerging risks.

“Nicola joins us at an exciting time in our growth strategy for financial and executive services,” said legal professional indemnity insurance head Kevin Hood. “We have recently launched our new exclusive product with AXIS offering a £10 million primary limit for mid-size legal firms.

“This further investment in the risk management area demonstrates our commitment to help our legal and financial services clients understand and protect against their potential risks.”
